Judge David L. Tobin was actively engaged in the private practice of law in South Florida for 26 years prior to becoming a Circuit Court Judge in 1987.  He served on the bench of the 11th Circuit for thirteen years in the civil and criminal divisions.  Judge Tobin was one of the most widely respected Circuit Court Judges, always rating at the top of the Dade County Bar Polls.  Judge Tobin is a Certified Circuit Civil mediator whose mediation specialties are matters involving commercial litigation, personal injury, malpractice, business and corporate law.  He has mediated more than 500 cases since his retirement from the bench.
